About Us

Our Kids Early Learning Centres were founded by Anita Kumar in 2008 and are renowned in the community for our commitment to quality early childhood education (ECE). We combine intimate community relationships, New Zealand’s Te Whāriki curriculum, and the principles of Pikler and RIE philosophies to create a progressive and holistic approach to learning.

Our main vision is to empower children’s sense of self and foster their ability to direct their own learning in a nurturing environment that is autonomous, open, and child-centred.

Natural Outdoor Spaces

Our outdoor environments focus on natural settings where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow in an engaging and challenging atmosphere.

Thoughtful Indoor Environments

Inside, our spaces are respectfully and homely organized, with careful consideration given to aesthetics and natural elements to instill a sense of belonging.
